Tracking a Polygon transaction is straightforward once you have your transaction hash. When you send POL or interact with a Polygon smart contract, your wallet will generate a TX hash — a 66-character string starting with '0x'. This hash is the unique identifier for your transaction on the blockchain.

To track your transaction, paste the TX hash into the search bar on polygontransaction.com. The explorer will immediately display the transaction's current status (pending, success, or failed), the block it was included in, the sending and receiving addresses, the amount transferred, gas fees paid, and the number of block confirmations.
If your transaction shows as pending, it means the network has not yet included it in a block. Polygon's average block time is approximately 2 seconds, so most transactions confirm within seconds. If a transaction remains pending for longer, it may be due to a low gas price or network congestion.
